PhotoFixRestore.Com's expert services are available across America.
Simply call us, or email us your image, or upload the photo through our contact page. If your file is more than 20MB then click on over to our Hightail Page and upload there. We receive an email confirming that your image has arrived, and we download it. We then email you back, confirming receipt and giving a firm estimate. If you agree, we get to work! We get busy on most jobs within the week. For large orders, we may request a deposit over the phone. When scanning your image, ensure that your scanner glass is clean, that you have set the mode to "photo", and that the resolution is set to "high" or "highest". If you are able to choose the scanner resolution, chose 800 dpi for small photos and choose 400 dpi for large photos. If the image is too large for the scanner glass then scan the photo in sections with overlap - we'll easily be able to stitch them together at our end! Don't have a scanner? Just stop by your local FedEx and let them scan your photo - up to 600 dpi. If you need more guidance on scanning, here is further advice from Jane. |
PhotoFixRestore.Com is very happy to receive your original photographs by courier or mail.
Our experience with all the major carriers as well as US Postal Service has always been positive. We do however recommend using FedEx, UPS or registered US Mail. Please call ahead first and we will give you an estimate and our mailing address. You arrange to get the image to us, we pay to return your photo (standard sizes) and your new print (up to 8" x 10"). Naturally, we cannot assume in-transit responsibility for items sent to us or by us. We recommend creating a digital backup file prior to dispatch. Some suggestions for packing photos for transit are at the bottom of our FAQ and Testimonial page!
